WorkSafe inspectors to visit construction sites
WorkSafe inspectors will be visiting construction sites to ensure duty holders are aware of the new OHS Regulations.
Master Plumbers inducted 16 of Victoria’s finest apprentices to its apprentice employment service, Plumbing Apprenticeships Victoria on Monday, May 14. The apprentices are in 1st, 2nd and 4th year, studying a Certificate III in Plumbing at their originating Registered Training Organisation, with all 1st years making up a full class at Master Plumbers Brunswick campus.
This is a sizeable intake for PAV, which has been reviewing its service levels in response to apprentice and host employer needs.
“We are really excited by the growth in this intake. Apprentices and their host employers are hearing about the benefits of PAV and our new model of operation and are responding,” Manager Natalie Reynolds said.
She said the benefits for both apprentices and plumbers were highly valuable.
