A chilly night on Thursday 31 May couldn’t stop the first Master Plumbers Product Information Session series from being a success.
Guests were welcomed into the Great Hall at PICAC Brunswick, where six Master Plumbers Corporate Partners hosted trade tables. Billi, Flood Restoration Australia, Saniflo, Kingspan, Stiebel Eltron and Kennards Hire decked out the Great Hall with a range of their fantastic products.
Guests took their seats and Peter Daly welcomed the crowd. Damian Caple from Billi was first to present and gave a great presentation on Billi’s Water Cooled System. Billi’s Water Cooled System is a joint cold and boiling water system, is a locally produced product that is designed to save space and be environmentally friendly and economical.
Following Billi, Neville White from Flood Restoration Australia took the floor to explain what they do. Flood Restoration Australia offers a comprehensive service in the event of a catastrophe, fire or flood. They are all about putting customers' homes and businesses back to pre-event condition. They specialise in flood and storm damage, mould, sewerage and bio hazards.
Tim Ridden from Saniflo was the next to present his products. Saniflo has been making grey water pumps and macerator pumps since 1958. Their pumps can be installed where sewer lines are too far from the fixtures. There is no need to spend money drilling into concrete for new plumbing lines, allowing customers more flexibility in their renovations.
Kingspan’s Warren Miller gave a run down of the Made to Measure Steel Water Tanks. Kingspan were established in 1934 and has a focus on sustainable, renewable and environmentally friendly products for sourcing, storing and protecting water for homes and businesses.
Another Corporate Partner, who has a focus on sustainable, renewable and environmentally friendly products was Stiebel Eltron. Oliver Joss, Manager of Renewable Technologies spoke about their passion for renewable energy in the home of the future. The main focus was on their Heat Pumps, which has a thermal energy system that utilises heat in the air to efficiently create hot water. Oliver also discussed their hydronic Heat Pump that can heat your home without huge cost or CO2 emissions.
Finally, Steven Knowles from Kennards Hire ‘Test and Measure’ team, updated guests on products they have available for hire. Kennards Hire have products from Pipe Cameras to Ultrasonic Ground Leak Detection devices, Manhole Haloptic cameras all the way to Non-Destructive Testing method devices.
Guests then spent time mingling with our presenters, discussing their products and asking questions while enjoying a drink and nibbling on canapes. It was a fantastic, informative evening.
Keep an eye out for the next Product Information Session in October 2018.
