Apprentice Training Start Date – Confirmed for 30th March 2020

We’re pleased to announce that our first class of plumbing apprentices will start at training in Narre Warren on Monday 30th March.

This will bring our apprenticeship training to the growing South Eastern suburbs and is part of Master Plumbers’ ongoing commitment to the future of plumbing in Victoria.   Master Plumbers has been training apprentices for the last 6 years and has a reputation for delivering high quality apprentices.

Details for Current Master Plumbers Apprentices – March 2020

We’ve already had some enquiries from apprentices who are currently  training with Master Plumbers in Brunswick, asking if they can complete their training at Narre Warren. 

We are hoping to be able to offer this transition later in 2020.  However, it is early days in terms of class sizes, and our focus will be on getting our first year apprentices up and training.

Planning for Apprenticeship Training to Commence – March/April 2020

The team at Master Plumbers have been working hard to get ready for Apprenticeship training at Narre Warren.  We’ve applied to add the training our scope of registration and plan to start our first class soon.

We’re proud to be able to offer our high quality apprentice training to employers and apprentices in the growing South Eastern region.   

Our small class sizes and dedicated staff, as well as connections with industry mean that our apprentices have an extremely success rate in completing their final exams and are in high demand by industry. 

Activities have included:

  • Installation of work benches
  • Training room fitouts
  • Finishing the plant (Brendan?)

Narre Warren Inauguration – September 2019

Timed with the World Plumbing Conference, Master Plumbers celebrated the opening of the Narre Warren training facility with its partners, PICAC, the PPTEU and International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO).

Speakers included:

  • Scott Dowsett, the President of the Master Plumbers

Master Plumbers Narre Warren Expo – August 2019

Master Plumbers was pleased to host local plumbers and its industry partners for an expo at the new PICAC/Master Plumbers facility at Narre Warren. 

Featuring presentations and information on new equipment, technology and regulations,  the expo was part of our commitment to helping our members stay up-to-date.

Attendees were also treated to a sneak peak to the new facility which will be the site for Master Plumbers’ apprentice training in 2020 and beyond.
