Under the National Employment Standards an employer is required to “give each employee the Fair Work Information Statement (Statement) before, or as soon as practicable after, the employee starts employment”. This requirement applies irrespective of whether the employer is covered by an award or an enterprise agreement.
The Fair Work Ombudsman has recently amended the Statement.
