Important changes to access of Standards documents

Some publishers have specific requirements around the way their intellectual property is distributed and how their copyright is protected.

There are now specific requirements for how copyright is protected for Standards Australia content and ISO and IEC content within Australia. As a result these documents will soon be secured by Digital Rights Management (DRM). 

Important changes to access of Standards documents

The i2i platform is undergoing development to enhance the DRM capabilities. This will assist us to meet the publisher requirements and not commit unintended copyright license violations.  

Following this release, any users wanting to access Australian Standards globally and ISO and IEC documents in Australia will only be able to do so using a supported PDF reader, such as Adobe Reader or Acrobat together with the freely available FileOpen plugin installed on their PC or device. Additionally, users must be connected to the Internet to access the documents online.
