  • Introduction to the requirements around OHS/ WHS, and the implementation and running the WHSMS within your business.
  • We delve into the responsibilities and duties for both employers and employees.
  • How to effectively consult on OHS/ WHS matter in the workplace.

 

Module 2 - Hazards, Risk Assessments, and SWMS

Tuesday 10 June 2025, 9.00am – 10.30am

  • Hazard and Risk identification, conducting risk assessments, controlling and mitigating risk in the business.
  • Using SWMS to control HRCW. (High risk Construction Work).
  • How consultation plays a big part in controlling risks in a business.

 

Module 3 - The role of WorkSafe, OHS Inspectorate and Injury reporting

Monday 16 June 2025, 9.00am – 10.30am

  • The role WorkSafe play, their inspectors & notices.
  • Notifiable incidents and the requirements of reporting along with how these are reported.
  • Incident / Injury investigation, recording & reporting.

 

Module 4 - Bullying, Harassment and Positive Duty

Monday 23 June 2025, 9.00am – 10.30am

  • Bullying & Harassment, Sexual Harassment & discrimination.
  • Psychosocial Health Overview.
  • Positive duty of care – what is it all about?
