The seventh annual Plumbing and Fire Industry Awards (PFIA) were held Friday 10 March 2023 at Crown Palladium.
In the wake of COVID-19 restrictions and more people continuing to work from home than ever before, there has been a rise in the need for macerator pumps. Pumps like Saniflo’s latest offering, the Sanimulti, provide an easy solution to allow more homeowners to have a second bathroom or powder room, anywhere in their home.
The Sanimulti joins Saniflo SFA’s range of market-leading macerator pumps and offers home and business owners added flexibility when planning their designs. Measuring just 505mm x 361mm x 205mm, the compact Sanimulti can easily fit inside a bathroom wall cavity, allowing different toilet suite style choices such as traditional or wall-hung, without compromising on design.
Featuring two different pan connection options, the Sanimulti can be connected to a toilet, wall-hung toilet, sink and/or shower providing options for an additional bathroom or powder room anywhere in the building.
With a robust stainless steel macerator blade, a 560-watt motor, a factory pre-mounted non-return valve, the ability to accept wastewater up to 40°C, slim discharge pipework of 25mm or 32mm, an IP rating IP44 and a removable motor cassette for ease of service. Sanimulti also has the possibility to connect to a shower with a tray height of 17cm, providing greater design flexibility, and has a maximum horizontal discharge capability of 70m and vertical discharge of 8m.
For those businesses who have had a return to work influx, the Sanimulti can help provide additional toilet facilities. In commercial settings, the Sanimulti has seen popularity due to its 8-metre vertical lift capability as well as its slim profile. This provides flexibility in commercial space design, which has become increasingly important for business owners.
Additionally, the Sanimulti features the ability to connect to the ‘plug and play’ Sanialarm Interlock, for added security. The Sanialarm Interlock has two key functions: it sets off an audible alarm in the event of a high-level issue, and simultaneously shuts off incoming water supply to prevent flooding, providing building owners with peace of mind.
