Master Plumbers celebrated the individuals and businesses shaping the future of Victoria’s plumbing industry at the 2026 Excellence Awards.
Held at Zinc at Fed Square, the 2026 Excellence Awards brought together apprentices, industry professionals, businesses, trainers, hosts and supporters from across the sector to celebrate the people and organisations recognised across this year’s awards.
This year’s event also marked 135 Years of Excellence for Master Plumbers, providing an opportunity to reflect on the Association’s history while looking ahead to the people shaping the future of the industry. The Night’s Highest Honour
Andrew Letten Gold Medal Awarded to Justin Zhang
The evening’s highest honour, the Andrew Letten Gold Medal (presented by Milwaukee), was awarded to Justin Zhang of Cooke & Dowsett Plumbing Group.
Named in honour of Andrew Letten, the Gold Medal recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the plumbing industry through their leadership, commitment and service.
“I wanted to thank all the trainers at Master Plumbers. To this day, I still remember from the very first day of my trade school to the last day of my Journeyman’s.”
Recognising the Best of Our Industry
Across the evening, the 2026 Excellence Awards recognised outstanding achievement across individual, business, Group Training Organisation and Registered Training Organisation categories.
From the next generation of skilled plumbing professionals to established businesses and industry leaders, this year’s winners represent the depth of talent, professionalism and commitment found throughout Victoria’s plumbing sector.
