So we can hand pick the best Apprentices and provide them with a well-rounded apprenticeship by placing them with Host Employers in different fields and in commercial and domestic environments. Once they’re complete, we continue their employment and support their transition to becoming Registered and Licensed Plumbers, offering them for hire through Plumbing Staff Solutions OR they can transition into employment with you. It’s all part of the service.
Let us do the trawling through the resumes, visit the schools and the pre-apprenticeship courses and conduct the pre-employment screening. You focus on business while we find you the extra pair of hands you need.
Our all-inclusive hourly rates include:
- All costs associated with advertising, interviewing and reference checking;
- $1000 worth of PPE, with replacement on a fair wear and tear basis;
- $1250 worth of tools
- A full day of face to face induction explaining expectations, all government paperwork, OHS
- A half day of practical hand skills induction
- A working with children check (Volunteer)
- Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card)
- Elevated Work Platforms (Scissor/Vertical lift)
- Boom lift (under 11M)
- Level 1 First Aid
Police Checks and any other licenses and tickets can be arranged to suit you and will be charged as a disbursement at cost – we will pay the time, you pay for the ticket.
Our Plumbers
Plumbing Staff Solutions only hires the best – our plumbers are either graduates of our Apprenticeship program or have been recruited on referral from one of our members. All applicants are vetted by a collection of labour managers who volunteer to ensure PSS provides quality plumbers who can come in and take the load off you.
We have a pool of plumbers who are available and who can even supervise our Apprentices across all fields – a perfect labour force solution.
