Be employed by Master Plumbers and complete your apprenticeship through Plumbing Apprenticeships Victoria.  

We employ you as an apprentice and provide you with work placements with a variety of host employers in the plumbing industry, whilst you complete your Certificate III in Plumbing.  

We look for candidates who are energetic, responsible and committed to learning all aspects of the plumbing trade. 

Are you a hard worker, keen to learn and prepared to commit to your apprenticeship long term? Earn and learn – you’ll get on-the-job training whilst completing your Certificate III in Plumbing.

What we look for:

  • Must be a team player
  • Have great communication skills
  • A strong work ethic
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Reliable and punctual
  • A willingness and commitment to learning

Our apprentices must also:

  • Have a valid Victorian driver’s licence
  • Access to a reliable vehicle 
  • Be eligible to work in Australia 

The following is highly regarded, but not essential:

  • Completion of a Certificate II Plumbing (pre-apprenticeship)
  • Some practical experience in the construction industry

Master Plumbers is one of Victoria’s leading trade associations and delivers apprentice and post trade training at our world class educational facilities in Brunswick and Geelong, with expansion to Narre Warren in 2020.

Due to increased demand, we are looking for experienced plumbing trainers to join our small and enthusiastic team, which is based in Brunswick.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional trainer who wants to work closely with apprentices and registered plumbers.

Who we’re looking for

  • Experienced vocational trainer with Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (or equivalent) or a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training. Trainers with a Certificate IV will be encouraged to complete a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training qualification or similar within 24 months after the six month employment probation period.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, delivery, review and maintenance of assessment and plumbing training resources in a vocational training environment.
  • A registered and/or licensed plumber with current industry experience and vocational skills including environmental plumbing techniques.
  • A passionate trainer with enthusiasm for industry and pre-apprentice/apprentice training and working collaboratively within the training team.
